Our coasters make for an awesome wedding day gift or anniversary gift. They are fantastic as a gift for dad, and a wonderful gift for mom. Looking for an excellent business gift? These fit the bill! Grandparents love this gift because it displays like a great family established sign.
We are proud to offer 100% renewable materials for our coasters! The bamboo used is cut from an FSC Certified forest. Not only is bamboo an incredibly strong and lightweight material, but increased use of this eco-material helps cut carbon production.
All of our pieces are hand finished and truly unique with natural variances and inclusions. The customized area will show a natural variation in color and tone.
PRODUCT DIMENSIONS:
Approx ½” thick for a quality heft and each coaster is approx 4” x 4”.
Each piece is finished with a homemade board butter made from food safe mineral oil and beeswax. We do not treat our bamboo products with sealants, varnishes, or dyes.
BOARD CARE

Not Dishwasher safe. Do not soak.
HOW TO ORDER
Please read our instructions carefully - we will engrave exactly as requested in the personalization box. We are not able to make changes once your order is processed.
Add your request in the Personalization Box:
1. Send us your QR code via email (info@leftcoastoriginal.com)
2. Let us know if you'd like any verbiage on your coasters (Ex. "Menu" or "Leave us a review!")
3. Select a font (see listing photos)

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
All items in our shop are made per order and just for you. Personalized pieces are not eligible for refunds or returns.

The artist was really sweet and wonderful to work with! Messaged back right away. I tried to Rick Roll my father with this QR code and it didn't work very clearly. It was a complicated code. So I ended up painting the inside black so he'd have no issue getting Rick Rolled, now it's a centerpiece on my parents table.
This was really disappointing - the first time the QR code wouldn't scan at all. I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement with a smaller QR code relative to the coaster size. The new one still does not scan if you use your phone camera, but will if you use a dedicated QR code reader. In my experience, most people will use their camera rather than a QR code reader, so it is disappointing that this does not work intuitively.
Update: Since leaving this review, the seller contacted me twice and offered to help with the order and asking me to change this review.
The bamboo coaster is of good quality. Unfortunately, one of the two QR codes is unreadable.
EDIT: Customer service was wonderful! I was offered replacements for the QR codes that didn't work.
This business was such a pleasure to work with! My coasters came and they are perfect! I can't wait to use them at my next maker's market!
They look amazing! Only downside is the QR code didn't actually scan for about half the coasters. However, I think this is inevitable given differences in wood grains and colors, so I don't fault the shop. Get a set of 2-4 you won't regret it!
