Our spoon rests are made from bamboo, an all natural material, so please be aware that there will be natural variations from one board to the next. The engraved area will show a natural variation in color and tone.
The bamboo used is cut from an FSC Certified forest. We are proud to offer 100% renewable materials for our personalized cutting boards! Not only is bamboo an incredibly strong and lightweight material for personalized cutting boards which age better than most tree woods after repeated use, but increased use of this eco-material helps cut carbon production.
Each engraving is burned deep into the board for a quality look and feel.ย Finished with a homemade board butter made from food safe mineral oil and beeswax. We do not treat our boards with sealants, varnishes, or dyes.
